SIGNS OF THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH
All of the said above may be considered as a fulfillment of the signs of the coming of the Messiah. We are at the closest possible period to the coming of the Messiah. We have never been this close to the revelation of the Messiah before.
All the signs of the coming of the Messiah given by the prophets, the early and later sages, are in place. And in this chapter, we will go through sign by sign as given by the Messiah Himself in Matthew 24 rightly viewed as a “mini” Book of Revelation.
And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the taught ones came to Him separately, saying, “Say to us, when shall this be, and what is the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” (Mat 24:3)
First Sign: False Messiahs and Teachers.
And Yeshua answering, said to them, “Take heed that no one leads you astray. For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they shall lead many astray. (Mat 24:4-5) If anyone then says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe. For false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones. See, I have forewarned you. So if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe. (Mat 24:23-26)
This is the most common and popular translation of the text which says that the false messiahs will falsely present themselves as messiahs and thus will mislead many. In order to understand the text from Hebraic perspectives, we need to know that there are no punctuation marks in Hebrew or in Greek and thus translated the text of Mat 24:5 itself is misleading:
For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they shall lead many astray.
However, if the punctuations are removed a chilling picture transpires and this is what it actually reads:
For many shall come in My Name, saying [that] I am the Messiah and they shall lead many astray.
This is a more plausible and faithful translation to the context of Matthew 24, because of the warning Yeshua gives later in His speech (see Mat 24:23 and Mat 24:26). We need to ask the question why the false messiahs should say, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There!’ since they have proclaimed themselves to be messiahs. Therefore, the widespread translation that the false messiahs will mislead mane by falsely presenting themselves as messiahs is incorrect because it contradicts the simple meaning of text as taken in its context.
But if translated correctly, the Messiah forewarns the believers today that the false teachers will proclaim with their mouths that He Yeshua is the Messiah and yet they will deceive many. How could that be possible? The answer to this question is nonetheless chilling: after showing great signs and wonders, they will preach a false messiah who had abolished the Torah of YHVH, created new religion and new religious body called “Church”, and replaced Israel with it. Thus, they will deceive many unlearned in the Scripture. Yeshua calls them “false messiahs and false prophets” in Mat 24:24 and this is just the first of the signs of the coming of the Messiah. Status: Being fulfilled.
Second Sign: The Rebirth of The State of Israel.
Learn the parable from the fig tree: When you see its branch and leaves sprouting know that he is near to the gates. (Mat 24:32)
The Jewish migration back to the promised land began in the late 19th century. The spoken commandment to restore the people on the land seems to be given on November 29, 1947 with UN Resolution 181 but it did not fulfil the requirement for a legal decree to rebuild Yerushalayim because it divided the city. It is also important to recall that UN General Assembly resolutions are only recommendations and do not bind member states under international law. Moreover, the Arab states rejected Resolution 181 in its entirety, especially its call for establishing a Jewish state.
Israel’s first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, understood the moral importance of Resolution 181 because of its recognition of the right of the Jewish people to a state. However, on Dec. 3, 1949, at the end of Israel’s War of Independence, Ben-Gurion told the Knesset he opposed calls for Yerushalayim’s internationalization:
“We can no longer regard the UN Resolution of 29 November as having any moral force. After the UN failed to implement its own resolution, we regard the resolution of 29 November concerning Yerushalayim to be null and void.”
Furthermore, it was not the UN that legally created the Jewish state with Resolution 181 in 1947, but rather Israel’s own declaration of independence in 1948.
In 5934, that is 1948 AD, the modern State of Israel was established with its own Declaration of Independence (Isa 66:7-9), which fulfilled the second of the signs of the coming the Messiah.
Before she labored, she gave birth; before a pain came to her, she was delivered of a male child. Who has heard the like of this? Who has seen the like of these? Is a land brought forth in one day? Is a nation born at once? For as soon as Tsiyon labored, she gave birth to her children. “Shall I bring to birth, and not give delivery? says YHVH. Shall I who give delivery restrain birth? said your Elohim.
Such an event of establishment of a nation in one day has never occurred before. A nation is usually brought into existence by degrees. Its institutions are matured gradually and by a long process of years until it is recognized by the other nations. But here is an event as remarkable as if a whole nation is born at once and stand before the world and declares its right to exist. And indeed, in fulfillment of the prophecy the reborn nation of Israel first declared its birth and then went through the pains of labor when the hostile neighbors tried to stop its birth in the 1948 War of Independence and the wars afterwards. And it will be so until Israel’s Messiah comes.
Status: Partially Fulfilled.
Third Sign: Wars and Terrorism.
And you shall begin to hear of fighting and reports of fighting. See that you are not troubled, for these have to take place, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and reign against reign. (Mat 24:6-7)
See the preceding chapters of the Book The Reckoning of Time concerning the Syrian conflict and the global terrorism: the clear signs of the coming the Messiah.
Status: Being fulfilled.
Fourth Sign: Calamities and Natural Disasters.
And there shall be scarcities of food, and deadly diseases, and earthquakes in places. And all these are the beginning of birth pains. (Mat 24:7-8)
Industrial incidents and natural disasters such as deadly earthquakes, hurricanes, typhoons, tornadoes, tsunamis, and volcanos are just statistics in the news. New strains of bacteria and viruses are not uncommon today.
Status: Being fulfilled.
Fifth Sign: Persecution of the Faithful. Betrayals.
Then they shall deliver you up to affliction and kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My Name’s sake. And then many shall stumble, and they shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise up and lead many astray. And because of the increase in lawlessness, the love of many shall become cold. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved. (Mat 24:9-13)
Israel is the most hated country in the world today. It is being blamed for almost everything happening in the Middle East. Jews and Israelis are killed, beaten on the streets for being Jews. The beheading, kidnapping, rapes, and selling in slavery of Christians in the Middle East countries by ISIS and imposed restrictions on religious freedoms in the West are reality today.
Many Christians leave faith or become lukewarm. American churches are plagued with apostasy, scandals, and controversy not to mention a general apathy that has left many under the political correctness, materialism, and self-indulgence. The churches in the western Europe do not exist any longer.
There are no longer moral values, everything is relative. Immorality is vogue guilt. Homosexual organizations engineer lawful means to criminalize anything that opposes homosexuality as hate crime.
They shall put you out of the congregations, but an hour is coming when everyone who kills you shall think he is rendering service to Elohim. (Joh 16:2)
Trust no friend, rely on no companion, guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom. For son is despising father, daughter rises up against her mother, daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, the enemies of a man are the men of his own house. (Mic 7:5-6)
70 AD was a very important year to the Nazarenes the early believers in Yeshua. In this year the Romans laid siege to Yerushalayim and after five months, invaded the city. This event had many profound effects on the Nazarenes. When the city was brought under siege, the Nazarenes remembered the words of Yeshua in Luk 21:20-21 to flee to the mountains. The Nazarenes heeded these words and fled to Pella, most likely dwelling in the caves of the wilderness outside of Pella. It is likely that the Pharisees and other Jews resented the Nazarene flight to Pella as an act of cowardice.
The flight to Pella itself also had a profound effect on the Nazarenes. A great deal of confusion resulted and the coalition fell apart. It was at Pella that the Ebionites first emerged as a separate sect. Ebionites are a group of Jews who accepted Yeshua as the Messiah; they accepted the Gospel According to Matthew but rejected the Epistles of Shaul and continued to follow Jewish law and celebrate Jewish holidays; they were later declared heretic by the Church of Rome.
An old copy of the Birkat haMinim found at the Cairo Genizah reads:
For the renegades let there be no hope, and may the arrogant kingdom soon be rooted out in our days, and the Nazarenes and the Minim* perish as in a moment and be blotted out from the book of life and with the righteous may they not be inscribed. Blessed are you, O L-rd, who humbles the arrogant.
*The term Moaminim was therefore being used so frequently to describe the Believers in Yeshua that their detractors found it natural or obvious to make a derogatory term out of their appellation, by turning “believers”, moaminim (מאמינים) into “destroyers”, minim (מינים).
This benediction was in the form of a curse on the Nazarenes which would have the effect of casting them out of the synagogues in 90 C.E. As Epiphanous records in the fourth century:
Not only do Jewish people have a hatred of them; they even stand up at dawn, at midday, and toward evening, three times a day when they recite their prayers in the synagogues, and curse and anathemize them. Three times a day they say, “G-d curse the Nazarenes.” For they harbor an extra grudge against them, if you please, because despite their Jewishness, they proclaim that Yeshua is Messiah… (Epiphanous Panarion 29)
Status: Being fulfilled.
Sixth Sign: Abomination in the Set-apart Place.
This is probably the surest sign of all signs of the coming of the Messiah. When it is fulfilled, count 1260 days and the Messiah will come right then. Read more about the coming of the Messiah in the article from the series The Appointed Times of YHVH: The Day of Trumpets and the Messiah.
So when you see the ‘abomination that lays waste,’ spoken of by Dani’el the prophet, set up in the set-apart place” – he who reads, let him understand. Then let those who are in Yehudah flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the house-top not come down to take whatever out of his house. And let him who is in the field not turn back to get his garments. And woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing children in those days! And pray that your flight does not take place in winter or on the Sabbath*. (Mat 24:15-20)
*(Heb) Pray to Elohim that your flight will not be on the Sabbath.
… the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshipped, so that he sits as a mighty one in the Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing himself that he is a mighty one. (2Th 2:3-4 )
The Messiah, prophesying about the end-time, reveals to us that we shall perceive the “Abomination that lays waste … set up in the set-apart place,” quoting from Daniel’s prophecy of the 70 Weeks. This prophecy was fulfilled the first time during the time of Antiochus Epiphanes, but the Messiah is here prophesying about the last forty-two months of the world. Dan 9:27, Dan 11:31 and Dan 12:11 seem to indicate that those living or visiting Israel at the time when the abomination is set up in Yerushalayim are to flee to the mountains. For those who are not in Israel at that time, there seems to be no prophetic timetable as to when or if they should escape. They may or may not find safety there prior to the abomination is set up. Eliyahu (Mal 4:4-6) may first restore the way for the remnant to move to Israel prior the invasion and the path to the place in haven (Mat 17:10-11). See also Part III of this study.
On the day of the escape there will be darkness (Rev 16:10) to provide a cover for those who flee thus separating them from their enemies. Elohim makes the Mount of Olives split open from an earthquake causing a mountain pass and a valley to be exposed for the escape. This allows many to use this passage to flee and survive. The path through the valley will reach a city called Atsal somewhere in the mountain (Mat 24:15-20) east near Jerusalem (The Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in eleven caves along the northwest shore of the Dead Sea. The area is 13 miles east of Yerushalayim and is 1300 feet below sea level.), a safe haven for 1,260 days till the end (Rev 12:6) for those who are able to flee (Zec 14:4-7).
Whatever will then befall will befall the whole earth; therefore all who live will experience them. For at that time I will protect only those who are found in those self-same days in this land. And it shall come to pass when all is accomplished that was to come to pass in those parts, that the Messiah shall then begin to be revealed. 2 Baruch (Syriac Apocalypse of Baruch) 29
But as for you, if ye prepare your hearts, so as to sow in them the fruits of the law, it shall protect you in that time in which the Mighty One is to shake the whole creation. 2 Baruch (Syriac Apocalypse of Baruch) 32
And they will carry him [the last wicked king] onto Mount Tzion, and my Messiah will convict him of all his wicked deeds and will assemble and show him all the works of his armies. And after these things he [my Messiah] will kill him [the last wicked king] and protect the rest of my people who will be found in the place that I have chosen. And his dominion will last forever until the world of corruption has ended and until the times which have been mentioned before have been fulfilled. Baruch (Syriac Apocalypse of Baruch) 40:1
And the holy land shall have mercy on its own, and it shall protect its inhabitants at that time. 2 Baruch (Syriac Apocalypse of Baruch) 71
He shall set them before him in judgment, shall rebuke them, and correct them. For the rest of my people, he shall deliver with mercy, those that have been preserved within my borders, and he shall make them joyful until the coming of the Day of Judgment. 2Es 12:13-34
Status: yet to be fulfilled.
Seventh Sign: The Two Witnesses.
And this Good News of the reign shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come. (Mat 24:14) See, I am sending you Eliyahu the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of Yehovah. (Mal 4:5)
This sign must refer to the ministry of the two witnesses during the three- and half-year Tribulation period when repentance will be required to enter the coming kingdom. For more information on the ministry of the two witnesses see Part III of the Book The Reckoning of Time: The Last 1,260 Days Of This World.
Status: yet to be fulfilled.
Eighth Sign: The Beginning of Ya’aqov’s Trouble.
For then there shall be great distress, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. Except those days were few, no flesh would be saved, but for the sake of the chosen those days shall be few. (Mat 24:21-22)
What is the time of Ya’aqov’s trouble in Jer 30:7? This refers to the Great Tribulation immediately preceding Israel’s national salvation. Both Daniel and Yeshua refer to this time as the greatest time of trouble that Israel will ever know (Dan 12:1; Mat 24:21-22).
Status: yet to be fulfilled.
Ninth Sign: Sign from The Sky Of The Coming of The Messiah.
For as the lightning comes from the east and shines to the west, so also shall the coming of the Son of Adam be. For wherever the dead body is, there the vultures shall be gathered together. And immediately after the distress of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Adam shall appear in the heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Adam coming on the clouds of the heaven with power and much esteem. And He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Mat 24:27-31)

Status: yet to be fulfilled.
Tenth Sign: We Are The Last Generation.
Learn the parable from the fig tree: When you see its branch and leaves sprouting know that he is near to the gates. So you also, when you see all these, know that He is near, at the doors. Truly, I say to you, this generation shall by no means pass away until all this takes place. The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away. Until that day, and concerning that hour, there will be no man that knows: not even the angels in heaven, but My Father only. (Mat 24:33-36)
What these words of Yeshua mean is that the generation that will witness the establishment of Israel in 1948 is the generation that will see the coming of the Messiah. Indeed, that generation is still alive today and it will not pass away until all signs of the coming of the Messiah take place. And the reason no one will know the day or the hour is because the renewed moon must be sighted by two or three witnesses in order for this day to be declared. (Read more)
In the Parable of the Fig Tree, Yeshua seems to tell us that we can know the general season of His return in advance, yet we cannot know the exact time. This is the same way to say that we can know when the Fall Festival Season approaches, but still, we must wait for YHVH to show us the first crescent sliver of the new moon. Therefore, we are to be alert, wait, and watch. Also, the prophecy in Dan 7:25; Dan 12:7; Rev 11:2-3; Rev 12:6; Rev 13:5 make it clear that the Messiah will come exactly 1,260 days after the abomination of desolation: the sixth sign of the signs of the coming of the Messiah.
Status: yet to be fulfilled.
Eleventh Sign: As In The Days Of Noach
This is probably the most obscured sign of all signs of the coming of the Messiah.
And as the days of Noah so also shall the coming of the Son of Adam be. For as they were in the days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall the coming of the Son of Adam be. (Mat 24:37-39)
Let us again recall the Flood story from Part I of the present author’s book The Reckoning of Time.
According to the Rabbinical tradition (Sanhedrin 108b), the day the Creator said to Noach in Gen. 7:4, “For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights” his grandfather Methushelach died. It is not explained in Gen. 7:4—after seven days of what? But the rabbinical tradition relates that for seven days before the Flood “the people heard a great commotion in the heaven” that signified “the end of the age”:
And it came to pass, after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. What was the nature of these seven days — Rav said: These were the days of mourning for Methuselah, thus teaching that the lamenting for the righteous postpones retribution. Another meaning is: After the seven days during which the Holy One, blessed be He, reversed the order of beginning of the sun* rising in the west and setting in the east… (Sanhedrin 108b)
*This implies a reversal of the Earth’s rotation, or most likely a reversal of its poles whose magnitude would almost certainly bring drastic changes in the Earth’s motion and cataclysms.
In seven days, after the customary seven-day period of mourning was over, the Creator brought the rain which lasted for forty days and forty nights. A memory of the light of the seven days might have been preserved in the Babylonian account of “flaming torches, lighting up the land with their brightness” just prior to the arrival of the waters of the Flood. (The Epic of Gilgamesh, transl. by A. Heidel, tablet XI). If that was what happened in the days of Noach, the world must have been in a dazzling light so strong and so brilliant day and night that in the days of Isaiah the memory of the light of the seven days was still alive in the tradition. Isaiah describes a miracle of “light of seven days” concerning the last days:
…Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days… (Isa 30:26)
These seven days of intense light in Isa 30:26 would be generated by a supernatural event which allude to the seven days preceding the Flood. And in the prophecy in Isa 60:19-20 there are another example of days of mourning that would be ended when YHVH would be an everlasting light referring to a dazzling light of the messianic age:
No longer is the sun your light by day, nor does the moon give light to you for brightness, but YHVH shall be to you an everlasting light, and your Elohim your comeliness. No longer does your sun go down, nor your moon withdraw itself, for YHVH shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. (Isa 60:19-20)
Insert: There are two understandings as to what Isa 60:19-20 refer to: (1) that there is a final new creation approaching, when there will be no more turning round into the shadow (Jam 1:17), when the whole planetary system, including the earth, will be changed, and when the earth itself will become a sun, will become even more than that, in the direct and primary light which streams down upon it from the Creator Himself; (2) that there will still be both sun and moon, but the Set-apart Place will be illuminated without interruption by the manifestation of the presence of YHVH, which outshines all besides (Isa 4:5; Isa 30:26; Isa 24:23). As the city receives its light neither from the sun nor from the moon, this implies what Rev 21:25 distinctly affirms, that there will be no more night there. The glory of Yehovah, which soars above Yerushalayim, and has come down into her, is her sun and her moon, a sun and a moon that never set. The triumph of light over darkness is concentrated in the new Yerushalayim. The present author would lean more towards the latter rather than the former understanding.
If there was any a supernatural event seven days before the Flood, we may expect another celestial event in the sky that may confirm the above reasoning. And indeed, the idea that a comet heralded the Flood was not new. Abraham Rockenbach, who probably first wrote about a comet in the sky before the Flood, was a scholar of the late Renaissance. In 1602 he published a short treatise in Latin, De cometis tractatus novus methodicus, and in it he had the following entry concerning the Flood:
In the year of the creation of the world 1656*, after Noah had attained the age of 600 years, three days before the death of Methusalem, a comet appeared in the constellation Pisces, was seen by the entire world as it traversed the twelve signs of the zodiac in the space of a month; on the sixteenth of April it again disappeared. After this the Deluge immediately followed, in which all creatures which live on earth and creep on the ground were drowned, with the exception of Noah and the rest of the creatures that had gone with him into the ark. About these things is written in Genesis, chapter 7. De quibus Genesism cap. 7 scriptum est.
*See also Jubilees Table. Year 1656 has been proven in Part I of this study to be the last Sabbatical year before the 33rd Jubilee.
Rockenbach claimed in his treatise that it was based on information “from the most trustworthy and the most ancient of the early writers” with which he might have referred to the great medieval rabbinical authority Rashi. Rashi wrote concerning Khima (Pleiades, KJV), a celestial body mentioned in Job 9:9 and Job 38:31, and in Amo 5:8, that it is “a star with a tail,” or a comet, which is associated with the Flood in the Talmud.
As already suggested in Part I of the Book The Reckoning of Time, it is possible that the seven days of mourning for Methuselah and the seven days of light are somehow related and they refer to the same miracle of a sevenfold light. Therefore, as the seven days of a sevenfold light before the Flood, when the world appeared to be ablaze in the radiance of sevenfold sun, signified the destruction of the wicked generation and the end of the Age of Desolation, so it is possible that there will be seven days of an intense light before the destruction of last wicked generation on the earth, as the Messiah seems to make a correlation between His coming and Noach’s time.
Therefore, we may expect and hope that and just as the righteous Noach was given the specific day for the judgment on the wicked generation of his time, so too the righteous in the last days will be given a forewarning of the impending judgment at Yeshua’s return. The day and the hour of His return will be known because the righteous still have to sight the renewed moon of the first day of the seventh month, Yom Teruah.
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Master is coming. And know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Because of this, be ready too, for the Son of Adam is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him. (Mat 24:42-44)
Status: yet to be fulfilled.
Twelfth Sign: As In The Days Of Lot
And as it came to be in the days of Noach so also shall it be in the days of the Son of Adam. … And likewise, as it came to be in the days of Lot: They were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building, but on the day Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and sulphur from heaven and destroyed all. It shall be the same in the day the Son of Adam is revealed. In that day, he who shall be on the house-top, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. Remember the wife of Lot. Whoever seeks to save his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life shall preserve it. (Luk 17:26-33)
The attractions and seductions of this world may deceive some believers to “look back” with nostalgia towards the lifestyle they leave and this may cost them their lives. This seems to be the warning of the Messiah when He referred to Lot’s wife.
Status: yet to be fulfilled.
Thirteenth Sign: The Remnant.
Then two shall be in the field, the one is taken and the one is left. Two shall be grinding at the mill, one is taken and one is left. (Mat 24:40-41)
In the Parable of the Ten Virgins in Mat 25:1-13. While the bridegroom took time and did not come in the time he was expected, they all the wise and foolish alike slumbered and slept. At midnight a cry was heard that the bridegroom was coming; all maidens woke to meet him but half of them were not fully prepared. The wise maidens advised the foolish ones who did not have enough oil in their lamps to go and buy some. But righteous people will never advise anyone to go and buy on a Sabbath or on Yom Kippur which is also called a Sabbath. This comes to indicate that the Messiah may not return in the midst of a Sabbath. Also, in Mat 24:40-41 the Messiah seems to say that the day of His coming will be a working day.
As in the days of Noach, a remnant of humans and animals was preserved, so there will be a remnant at the Messiah’s return.
Status: yet to be fulfilled.
Fourteenth Sign: The Faithful Servants Providing Food for the Others
Who then is a trustworthy and wise servant, whom his master set over his household, to give them food in season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, having come, shall find so doing. Truly, I say to you that he shall set him over all his children. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant shall come on a day when he does not expect it, and at an hour he does not know, and shall cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites – there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Mat 24:45-51) Also Luk 12:39-48.
This is how the Messiah finished giving the signs of His return: by clearly stating that those who take care of the Messiah’s servants thus fulfilling the Torah will inherit His kingdom. And because the master is delaying his coming, He will come as a thief in the night meaning unexpectedly for those who do not practice righteousness for they will not be watching (2Pe 3:10, Rev 3:3, Rev 16:15).
Measure thou the time diligently in itself: and when thou seest part of the signs past, which I have told thee before [2Es 5:1-10, 2Es 6:12-26], Then shalt thou understand, that it is the very same time, wherein the Highest will begin to visit the world which he made. 2Es_9:1-17
